AGD Dentist of the Year

Award Winner

Dr. Michael J. Taylor, BSc., DDS., FAGD.

Dr. Michael Taylor graduated from the University of New
Brunswick before pursuing Dentistry at Dalhousie University
in 1980. He maintains a private practice in general dentistry in
Saint John N.B., which he opened upon graduation and still
practices within today. Over the years Dr. Taylor has been a
part of numerous dental societies, clubs and organizations,
including; president of the St. John Dental Society, past
Education Chair and Program Planner for the Atlantic AGD,
and a part of the NB Dental Society Advisory Committee, to
name a few. He has given over 40 years to the Atlantic Provinces
AGD Board, providing continuous service to the promotion
of Dentistry in eastern Canada. He has been honoured in the
Dr. Michael J. Taylor past with the Atlantic Provinces AGD Dentist of the Year award,
the Golden Jubilee Medal, and the YM/YWCA Outstanding
Leadership Award, among his many other accolades. Not only
is he a passionate dental practitioner who has cared for his
patients for over four decades, he is an outstanding leader and
community member within the St. John area. In his free time, Dr
Taylor enjoys golf, boating and scallop fishing around the coast
of Campobello Island on the Bay of Fundy. Dr Taylor has given
endless hours to the profession of Dentistry. Congratulations
Dr. Michael Taylor on the Canadian AGD Dentist of the Year
